A mass shooting occurred early Monday morning, July 28, 2025, at the Grand Sierra Resort casino in Reno, Nevada. The tragic incident took place around 7:25–7:30 a.m. near the valet parking area of the casino, shaking the local community and casino visitors.

According to police reports, a gunman opened fire outside the resort, resulting in at least two fatalities and multiple others wounded—initial reports indicate three to four injured individuals. The suspect was quickly subdued after an exchange of gunfire with responding police officers. He was apprehended at the scene and transported to a local hospital for medical care.
